Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi

Arrival in Delhi, At your arrival you will be welcomed in a beautiful Indian tradition with a flower necklace to welcome you. Transfer to the hotel according to the arrival time, relax at the hotel. Night at the hotel.

Day 2-3Delhi-Rishikesh (230km / 5-6h)

Departure by road to Rishikesh , arrival at the hotel, check-in. Rishikesh is a city in the state of Uttarakhand in northern India. Located at the foot of the Himalayas, this city is 350 m above sea level and along the Ganges. Being thus close to the source of the Ganges, the city has a sacred character. During the Yatra period, many pilgrims come there to perform religious activities in the many temples and at the edge of the ghats. The number of sadhus is very important. The Ashrams dot the city, among them Swarg Ashram, Sivananda Ashram or Kailas Ashram Brahmavidyapeetham. These institutions have seen eminent personalities. Several temples are located in the city, including the Neelakanta Maha Deva Temple at the foot of the bridge. Since 1968 the city has become world famous after the passage of the Beatles in the Ashram Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

The album Blanc of the famous group is partially from the work done during their retirement in the ashram. Visit the temple of Bharat, Triveni Ghat, Ram & Laxman Jhula Ashram and Ghats. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Rishikesh - Chandigarh (210km / 5-6h)

After breakfast drive to Chandigarh which is located near the foothills of the Himalayas chain in North West India.
A modern and well planned city. Day 5Chandigarh - Manali (290km / 6-7h)

After breakfast, transfer Manali, extends to the northern end of the Kulu Valley on a very old site. The landscape is beautiful with snow-capped peaks, pine forests, tiny meadows, orchards and the clear-water Beas River running through the city.

Day 6 Manali

Morning excursion to Vashist, a pretty village on the bank of the Beas and famous for its hot springs and temples. The pyramidal stone temple is dedicated to the sage Vashist Muni and God Rama . Naturally hot and sulphurous hot springs, with two separate pools for men and women, are very popular. Free afternoon. Night in Manali

Day 7 Manali

Full day devoted to local tours, Naggar Castle, Jagatsuk temple and Hadimab Maata temple. Rest of free time in the local market. Night in Manali.

Day 8Manali-Dharamsala (235kms / 7h)

After breakfast, transfer Dharamsala , Dharamsala is a city in northern India, located in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is sometimes called Little Lhasa because it is the home of the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, currently in exile in Tibet. For many years, Buddhism has been the main religion of the region, Arrive and relax. Overnight in Dharamsala.

Day 9 Dharamsala

After breakfast visit this ancient colonial town located at the foot of the majestic chain of Dhauladar called ” Little Lhasa ” and actually mainly attended by Tibetans, Buddhist pilgrims, and Western tourists in search of mysticism. Day 11Dharamsala - Amritsar (205km / 4-5h)

Departure by road to Amritsar: words Panjabi Amrit (nectar) and sar (basin). It is a city in northwestern Indian state of Panjab. It houses the Harmandir Sâhib, also called the Golden Temple, spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh community. Built by the 4th Guru of Sikhism, Gurû Ram Das. Day 12Amritsar

After breakfast still visit Golden Temple in the morning, visit Jaliyawala Bag and in the evening see Waga Border ceremony. Night in Amritsar.

Day 13Amritsar-Srinagar (13h10-14h05)

After breakfast transfer to the airport to take the flight to Srinagar . Arrive Srinagar and transfer to House-boat to relax.
Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 14Srinagar

Breakfast, free morning and lunch. In the afternoon, ride aboard a traditional boat (Shikara) on Lake Dhal, through the lotus gardens, water lilies and floating vegetable gardens, bordering the city located in the heart of the Kashmir Valley , stretch of part and on the other side of the Jhelum River. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 15Srinagar-Sonamarg (90km / 2h)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the great crossing of the state of Kashmir (Kashmir) . Your first step will be Sonamarg. His name means ” Prairie d’Or “. This small town is nestled in a beautiful site in the heart of a wooded valley. Lunch free. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 17Sonamarg-Srinagar - Delhi (flight 13: 20-14: 50)

After breakfast transfer to Srinagar airport (90km / 2h) for flight to Delhi, Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 18 Delhi - Paris

After breakfast transfer to the airport for international flight to Paris
